All Abilities Water Safety Fun Day

This event is all about teaching life saving skills to everyone with extra abilities.

When will things happen: 1-1.30 registration, 1.30-3.45pm stations set up, 3.45-4.30pm Inflateable 4-5pm BBQ

What you need: You will need bathers, towel, if you want clothes to swim in (on top of bathers), a smile

What to expect: there will be fun, informative stations set up around pool deck. Participants will move from station to station in small groups with a staff member. Some of the things we will do, rescues, lifejackets, beach safety etc.

Why are we doing this: Everyone should learn basic water safety. According to research children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are 160 times more likely to drown than their neurotypical peers.
