At Kilsyth Centenary Pool we have a variety of aquatic facilities to suit your needs. From toddlers to lap swimmers – we’ve got you covered with four indoor heated swimming pools, a spa and two outdoor seasonal swimming pools.
Indoor Heated 50m Lap and Recreation Pool
The indoor heated 50-metre swimming pool has a shallow point of 1.2-metre and a maximum depth of 1.9-metre.
This pool is excellent for
- running alternative group training activities
- running water games
Outdoor Swimming Pools
Open after Melbourne Cup weekend in November to Labour Day weekend in March (if over 25 degrees) our outdoor seasonal swimming pools are great for a refreshing swim during the summer months.
The 25 meter outdoor pool has a maximum depth of 0.9-metre. There is also an outdoor toddler pool. This is the perfect option to soak up the outdoor environment with aquatic games during the summer.
Outdoor facilities include:
- 25-metre recreation pool and lap pool
- Toddler pool
- An expansive grassed area including a shaded areas
The Rock Pool has a maximum depth of 1.8-metre. This is maintained as a warm water pool.
This pool is great for
- small exercises
- rehabiliataion exercises in warm water (please note it has a step entry)
- it also has a rope going across the pool that is great for supported chin up and other exercises
Relax and unwind with a therapeutic spa. Hop in our spa for an invigorating warm water massage. Water and air jets work their magic as the hassles of the day disappear.
Taking a regular spa is reported to:
- Relieve joint and muscle pain
- Improve blood flow and circulation
- Assist people with sleep disorders
Apart from the therapeutic benefits of a spa, there’s the chance to just relax and enjoy.
The Toddler Pool is shares water with the Rock pool which means the water is nice and warm. It boasts a mushroom pool fountain.
The Program Pool is 0.8-metre deep and has stair access for convenience. It is perfect for running group activities or as an aquatic games area for younger children.
The Pool Inflatable is available at certain times, generally during school holidays. When it's available to use it will be advertised via the What's On page. Please note staff have the right to refuse access if they are concerned for patrons well-being.
